Is Petit Print only for weddings?

No, we are happy to design for old and new business venture and various event such as birthday (kids and adult), baby showers, wedding anniversary and social occasions.



When is the most ideal time to consult with a designer?

In order to ensure the process runs smoothly and your stationery are delivered on time we need to book ‘your time’ in advance. Allow at least 4 months from first consultation to delivery date for local wedding and 6 months for destination wedding with additional day-of stationery order.

As much as we would love to work with each and every one of you we can only take on 2-3 projects a month and sometimes we are booked a year in advance. So it is best to start the process as early as possible because depending on the time of year we can get extremely busy, especially on the so-called wedding peak season.



How much do invitation cost?

Our projects vary greatly in price depending on materials used, quantities and print methods. Since each project is so different, we suggest you request an estimate to get a feel for pricing on your specific job. Please note that custom design works includes a design fee for each item in addition to our regular production pricing.



How many invitations do I need?

Keep in mind when figuring out your quantities, that you are sending to households not individuals. We recommend that you order 10-15% over your list to accommodate for hand calligraphy, forgotten guests, and incorrect addresses.



I’m interested. How do we get started?

Beginning with an email correspondence, we start by discussing your project and what you might need to create the look and feel you desire. We use this initial contact to establish a budget range, materials, and suitable print methods. If necessary, we could set up an in-person meeting to go through samples. Customers outside of Jakarta may want to order samples online.

We will then send you a preliminary quote based on the details we collected from our correspondence. After you’re happy with the estimate, we will get you a formal invoice. And once we have a 50% deposit we can dive into the design process! You will receive your first draft within 2 weeks for custom work, and within 1 week for non-custom work. From there we will go back and forth with design changes until you are 100% happy with your invitations.



What should I prepare before the initial consultation?

It would be helpful if you can provide us with your preferred color themes and design style. Feel free to bring any inspiration you’ve collected in the form of magazine tear-outs, digital files, and/or pinterest board, that you might like to discuss. But, if you can’t think of anything, relax, we are here to help you.



Is there a minimum order?

Our minimum order for custom design invitation and production is 50 pcs. Custom design fee starts from IDR 2,000,000 and our standard 5R sized duplex (2 ply) invitation with envelope and one enclosure typically cost around IDR 30,000 each.



Can I purchase digital files?

Yes! Petit Print sells printable versions of our designs for digital printing only.



I already have a design, can you print it for me?

We do not print outside work, although we sometimes will allow clients to submit a logo or drawing to be integrated into the rest of the wedding suite that we will be designing, and this is at the studio’s discretion. We wish we could help everyone, but we have to stick with what we do best and maintain the design aesthetic we believe in!



What is the design process for custom invitations and stationery?

We love to set the tone for the event, starting from the very first thing the guests see, to the welcome items when they arrive to their destination and finally any goodies they are left with as a memory of the event. We begin with one element such as the invitation piece to start the design process. After the piece is exactly as you like, we move on to the rest of the items, to complete your project. We are happy to work with your event planner as well to make sure no detail is left out.

Did I get to see what my invitation looks like before printing?

Certainly! We will never proceed to print without first getting clients approval on the final design. Digital proof is free of charge. But if you want a near-to-exact feeling of how it feels in your hand when it is done, flat printed proof is available for an extra fee, and an additional 2 week turnaround time.



Do you offer letterpress services?

Currently, we don’t have letterpress machine (yet). But we are open to work together with other printing vendor who provides letterpress service. Feel free to contact us for further information.



When do I get the goods?

Printing and production time vary depending on the complexity of the project. For flat printing orders, printing and production typically takes 15 business days (3 weeks). And please add extra 5 business days for any orders with additional finishing (foil stamp or die-cut). This timing is subject to studio approval and we will be sure to discuss it with you during the process if it needs to be adjusted due to the specifics of your project.



Does your service extend out of Indonesia?

Yes! We have worked with clients around the globe and we ship worldwide at the client expense. When meetings can’t be done in person, optional online meetings could be done via Skype or other apps of your choice.
