Bali international airport (airport code DPS) services flights from most major Asian cities, including
but not limited to Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

For guests from the US and Europe, note there are no direct flights to the island so we would advise you to search for flights to any of the major cities mentioned above and then continue your journey to Bali. Budget flight options may also be available for your connecting journey.

For international flights, we would recommend taking Singapore Airlines or Cathay Pacific. For the domestic leg (flying into Bali), Garuda Indonesia is considered to be the best airline or Air Asia and Lion Air for budget airline options. If you are flying from Jakarta to Bali, it is only a 90 minute flight
and we often take Lion Air / Air Asia as well.

Please let us know if you have any questions or issues with choosing your flights.

We plan to arrive in Bali on Wednesday, July 17 and we will be staying until Monday, July 22. Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place in the afternoon of Saturday, July 20. We encourage you to arrange your arrival the day prior or at the latest, before noon on the same day of the ceremony.

Tourist visas are required for most nationalities, with the exception of ASEAN member countries. Visas can be obtained on arrival at the airport in Bali, and will cost approximately US$25 per person for a one month visa.

Official airport taxis are available at a rate of approximately IDR 95,000-105,000 (~US$9 to $10) from a service counter located outside the arrivals hall (exit baggage claim and turn right).  Payment is made at the counter before your journey; please provide your receipt to the driver and proceed to the taxis parked in the designated taxi parking lots. Do ignore the unofficial taxi drivers as they usually jack up the price, and go for the official taxi booth. The travel time to Le Grande Hotel will be approximately 30-45 minutes from the airport.

If you are travelling in a bigger group and would like to rent a car (and driver) during your stay, a 6-seater car costs approximately IDIR 300,000 – 400,000 (~US$30 to $40) per day inclusive of 10 hours and your own driver. If you would like to rent your own car and driver, please let us know
and we can direct you to the car rental we normally use.

Transportation to and from the wedding venue will be provided. Shuttles will leave Le Grande Hotel
at 3:45PM on the day of the reception to Khayangan Estate. The drive from Le Grande
to Khayangan Estate is approximately 20 minutes.

We will be providing all our guests with 1 night stay (from Saturday, July 20 – Sunday, July 21) at Le Grande Hotel in Pecatu. We picked Le Grande since it is the nearest hotel to Khayangan and most convenient, approximately 10 minutes away from Khayangan Estate. If you would like to extend your stay, we have negotiated group rates that will also be applied to our guests who would like to check in earlier, or check out later. Please let us know of you want to extend your stay, so we can make the necessary arrangements.

If you would like to stay elsewhere and need recommendations, below are a few hotels / villas we recommend:

JIMBARAN Area (approximately 25-30 minutes to/from Khayangan Estate)

Intercontinental    |    Four Seasons    |    Ayana Resort

NUSA DUA Area (Approximately 40-45 minutes to/from Khayangan Estate)

Conrad Resort    |    St. Regis    |    Marriott Courtyard

SEMINYAK Area (Approximately 1 hour to/from Khayangan Estate)

If you plan to extend your stay in Bali, please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have
any questions on local activities and things to do.

For those of you seeking ideas for things to do and see in Bali, we have compiled a quick list of suggestions in the vicinity of the Le Grande Hotel that may be useful for your reference. We have limited experience and no affiliation to these spots, but have a positive view based on our previous visit to Bali. Enjoy!
